The Trinity: We believe the Bible teaches that, while God is One, He exists in three Persons, called Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These are not three persons in the ordinary sense of the word; they are not seperated persons, but rather three distinct persons in whom the Divine essence exists, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each are fully and equally God in relation with each other.

The Fall of Adam: We believe in the historical and literal fall of Adam as the first created man into sin; which we call original sin. We believe that due to Adam’s sin, all men receive the guilt and corruption of his sin and consequently are deemed sinners by heritage and choice.

The Dual Nature of Christ: We believe that Jesus, who was born of a virgin, is fully God and man; the God/man. We believe that Jesus possesses a divine nature, as well as a human nature; 100 percent God and 100 percent man—a great mystery.

The Atonement: We believe that Christ died on the cross as a substitute for sinners. We believe that by the death of Jesus Christ, the penalty of sin (past, present and future) have been paid for all who believe in Him as Lord and Savior.

The Resurrection: We believe that Christ, after he died and was buried, rose from the dead as proof of his acceptance as the perfect sacrifice for sin. We believe that the resurrection of Jesus Christ guarantee the bodily resurrection of His people.

The Justification: We believe that a sinner is made right (declared not guilty) with God not by his/her own merits but by the unmerited grace of God. Even faith is the gift of God. We believe that sinners are saved by grace through faith and not by works!

The Headship: At OasisHD we subscribe to the biblical teaching of complementarianism. Men and women are partners together in every area of ministry. Both are created in the image of God, and in Christ inherit true righteousness, holiness, and relationship with God. All ministries in the church are open to all qualified men and women, with the singular exception of the office of Pastor/Elder which the sciptures require to be a “male only” office. Women serve as deacons, teach, lead worship, serve communion, and are in paid full time ministry. For a more in depth summary please visit www.cbmw.org .

The Return: We believe that there will be a visible and literal return of Jesus Christ to the earth. We believe that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ will bring salvation and judgmentto all men.

The Eternity: We believe that the Bible teaches that heaven is prepared for those who have faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible teaches that Hell is prepared for those who do not have salvation in Jesus Christ.

At OasisHD we have a theological system of doctrine that emphasizes the sovereignty (rule) of God over all things. It was developed by many Reformed theologians throughout history. We believe that the sovereign God stands in a covenant relationship with His people in all history: Creation to Fall to Redemption to Consummation.
We believe Salvation is by GRACE ALONE through FAITH ALONE in JESUS CHRIST ALONE and for the GLORY OF GOD ALONE. This belief is found in the AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE ALONE.

The values and mission of our Community groups at OasisHD are laid out in the greek verb meaning “To Call”. Gathering throughout the High Desert during the week, these communtites seek to embody the hands and feet of Christ in each life that they engage. You may be thinking that recovery is just for people with alcohol or drug problems. We have found that only one-third of the people attending Celebrate Recovery are dealing with chemical dependencies. The truth is that all of us struggle with more than one hurt, habit or hang-up. We all have sinned. We’ve all fallen short. We’ve all been hurt, and we’ve all hurt others. Everybody needs recovery. All of life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups are addressed through the ackowledgment of Christ as King of our lives. Join us Every Friday night 7pm at OasisHD as we point to Jesus. Dave and Sonja Stover would love to meet you as they guide our CR community faithfully.
At OasisHD we firmly believe in a women’s higher calling. Lisa Fahrenkamp our Women’s leader is passionate about seeing women reclaim the identity and role God has gifted them. Gathering on the these Saturdays in 2011 February 26th, July 16th, October 15th, December 10th from 9am to 11 am, the women of OasisHD share a passion for Jesus and his Church. For Info Email Lisa
How has God designed Men? What role and responsibilities are given to him in scripture? These are the questions we seek to answer at OasisHD. We have a firm strong call to our men to embrace the principles of scripture when comes to leading, loving and protecting their families and God’s church. Joins us for our quarterly gatherings, Saturdays in 2011. February 19th, May 21st, October 15th Meet at OasisHD at 9am. Retreat is August 26th, 27th, 28th. Email Pastor Vinnie.
How are you preparing your children for life’s journey? At OasisHD we have embarked on a road that will take us through the bible that we may equip our children to face the flattires and potholes this life has to offer. Glen and Tina Christie lead this venture with enthusiasm, love and grace for our children. Our Route 66 program is held during all three gatherings at OasisHD 9am, 11am and 6pm.
